Keep in mind that metal discolors when it comes into contact with moisture, water, perfume, creams and sweat. This is completely natural, the metal darkens and gets a patina which makes the jewelry unique. Even sun and high humidity can change the color of the metal. Never shower or bathe with your jewelry. Store your jewelry in a dark and cool place.

Stainless steel does not rust or oxidize. Steel has a slightly darker color. Gold-colored steel may darken after a while.

Sterling silver may darken over time but can be polished.
