All semi-precious stones have different drilled holes so you can try to find the most suitable thread.

To tie a mala, we recommend pearl silk no. 8 or nylon thread 0.5 mm, which usually works. The threads are available in several colors.

A good tool is a double-pointed needle for fine and even knots.
